The District 6 agents welcome you to Owensboro for the 2019 KACAA Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement Conference! Explore the possibilities by coming early and staying late! The conference takes place at the spectacular Owensboro Convention Center along the Ohio Riverfront. The professional development opportunities planned provide tips and ideas to take back to your county. You don’t want to miss exploring these exciting and informative possibilities! Register for the conference by June 1 to avoid a late fee. Block of hotel rooms is available at the Hampton Inn & Suites Owensboro Downtown/Waterfront until May 23. The link for the hotel reservations is located at the end of the registration form. Spectacular activities are planned for kids, spouses, guests, and life members.

Before the conference, enjoy the beautiful Ohio Riverfront and Smothers Park with the dancing water fountains, spectacular playground, and enjoyable view. Visit the newly constructed International Bluegrass Museum and learn about the music from the area. Discover small local shops and restaurants in the downtown area, which are within walking distance or a short troll ride. Don’t miss the new facility for the Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market open on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to noon.
